Buffy felt the music pump through every particle of her being. She breathed deeply, relaxed for the first time in a long time. Her body moved in time with the beat. She ran her hands through her long, blond hair and threw smiles at the others on the dancefloor.
She herself was dressed in a short dress that was crimson in colour. She had come alone tonight. She didn't think she could stand listening to Giles telling her how she should be training now harder than ever. She deserved a break. Hey, she had saved the world again hadn't she?

Angel walked into the club and looked around for Buffy. This is where Buffy told him to meet when she called him at Wolfram & Hart. He looked around and saw Buffy dancing over at the dancefloor.
He nervously walked towards her, he hadn't seen Buffy for a really long time. He finally got up to her after walking trough all the others who were dancing "Buffy?" he said to her nervously

Buffy heard her name and stopped dancing. She turned around to see Angel standing before her. She sighed. She had forgotten that she had asked him to come. So much for her break. "Angel," She greeted. She led him off the dancefloor so she could talk freely. She sat down at a table and motioned for him to join her.
"You came." She commented quietly. She hadn't expected him to come. After all, they didn't exactly get along well anymore. She thought that would have something to do with the fact that she and Spike had been involved.

Angel sat down next to Buffy "Yeah, well I heard you've got some tough demon you need to take care of" Angel said
Angel knew Buffy was angry at him and didn't trust him for working at Wolfram and Hart and was a little bit confused at why Buffy wanted him here.
"so, why do you need me Buffy"

Buffy propped her elbow up on the table and looked down. She hadn't wanted it to come to this. She didn't want to have to ask Angel for help. She hated that she had to talk to him after he let himself work for the company that had tried to kill him. But she had no choice.
"I need someone here to take over if I'm-" She faltered. "Not strong enough to end this..." She hated that she had to say that. She liked to think she was strong enough to keep the world from being destroyed. But from what she had heard of this new demon, she knew that she would need a back up plan. That was where Angel came in.
